Classic Model

The principles of tone as a function of guitar size apply to nylon stringed instruments as well as steel stringed ones. Players find that smaller, older-style classic guitars have surprisingly strong and carrying sound, notwithstanding the common expectation that a big body means a big sound. Also, flamenco guitars are very often not only a little smaller than classics but are shallower as well -- and their sound carries very nicely. Mainly, a good classic is expected to have a beautifully melodic sound that can be appreciated by an audience that will be politely attentive.
