Flamenco Model

The flamenco guitar and the classic guitar are both subsets of the Spanish guitar. The main difference is that the flamenco guitar is more lightly constructed so as to have a sharper, more cutting and penetrating sound. Flamenco music is highly rhythmic and the flamenco guitar's purpose is to be audible in a fiesta setting in which gatherers are making noise, singing, dancing, clapping their hands, etc. Traditional flamenco guitars have friction pegs rather than the more modern mechanical tuners, but either one is an option.
