I like to play with decorative ideas. It’s fun for me. Some of those ideas spill over from my rosettes onto my guitars’ pegheads. Having visual elements that reflect, support, and echo each other help to make the guitar into something more pleasing to look at, and more visually complete. The rosettes and peghead veneers are nice being framed and put on a wall by themselves, too, and without having a guitar tagging along.
