Employment

ART AND LUTHERIE TEACHING AND RELATED EMPLOYMENT:

  • 2024 Began the formal apprenticeship of Jeff Silverman, from New Zealand
  • 2024 Created a flow-chart history of American Lutherie in general, and also the first flow-chart of American and Canadian luthiers whom I have taught, and who have gone on to train younger luthiers in formal apprenticeships of their own – and who these young luthiers are. This was done for a presentation to be held at the Osaka Guitar Show, in Japan. The Osaka Exhibition was also the occasion of my long-term and long-distance trainee, Sibu Liu, having made his formal debut.
